and I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it. I was going to end that with "I'm so,so scared." but I don't know how many would get my Jessie Spano Saved by the Bell reference in all of my dorkdom.
So I have to start this post off with what an absolutely amazing husband I have. He really is! Ben Folds is my favorite artist in this whole entore world. I cannot express how much I love his music. I always check to see if he will ever play near me and I found out about a month ago that he was playing in Louisville...but it was around the same time James sister was due so I didn't really want to buy tickets and posibly not be able to go. My heart was a little broken. Well fast forward to her having her baby early and my husband calling me to tell me he bought tickets to the Ben Folds show next weekend! I seriously almost cried (ok so maybe I shed a tear-you don't know me ;) I am beyond excited and thankful to my amazing husband for loving me so much.
I posted at the beginning of the year a little glimpse of my love of Ben folds w/ this picture of our wedding bands that we have engraved with "The Luckiest" as it was our first wedding dance song. It is going to be amazing to see him sing it live with my husband! So sorry for the old/repeat picture but I am so excited...and I just can't hide it. (I thought it was worth the second reference)
For those of you who might not be too familar with Ben I strongly suggest checking him out. His songs are funny, deep, catchy, beautiful. They really touch on everything.
He just did this collaboration with Regina Spektor that I can't get out of my head (Warning-potty language in this one) Double Warning- Ifyou listen to it be prepared to listen again, it's so catchy!
But if you are the more romantical type check this one out-It was our wedding song and it is beautiful:

Such a great shout-out to your hubby :) And I love, love, love that blue paper below. Gorgeous.
Jessie! It's ok...remember when we snuck out together and it was dark outside and we were scared...
HAHAHA! I LOVE SBTB!
Congrats! I like Ben Folds too and I bet he's great in concert.
AWWWW, what a great husband! Love that shot, too! Sounds like it will be a great concert!
i tunes here i come!
And, I really love that photo of your wedding band! I need to copy you as I have something engraved in mine too!! Sooooo sweet!!
Awww, what a sweetie! I hope the two of you have a fantastic time at the concert!
Awesome shot and way to go hubby.
OMG!!! I love Ben Folds Five! They are one of my all time faves! I am SO jealous!
(and I totally would have got your Jessie reference... I was a SBTB junkie! I still watch it on reruns when I see it on! I'm a dork. )
ROFL! I got the SBTB reference! haha! Love this shot!!!!!!!!!!
James rocks! I hope you have a fantastic time!
And I'm glad your wedding song wasn't Brick. :-D Okay, lame joke, but it's really the only Ben Folds song I'm familiar with (although that one is Ben Folds Five, right?). Oh, and the Christmas one about Santa getting his fat ass stuck in the chimney. Love that one.
I think he looks like Dana Carvey as Garth from Wayne's World.
What a sweet post! Love the shot, just beautiful! And the music is awesome too!
