This was a long, great weekend and it really makes me sad to go back to work tomorrow. I took a ton of pictures and will probably post them throughout the week so I don't have an overload in one post. Just wanted to warn you in case you think my kids don't change their clothes... they do ;)
Fun times at the park before we hit the swings (which I have pictures of too but haven't edited yet):
The trio:
I am really trying to step out of my always shoot in the evening box so I tried a little backlighting.
First attempt not the best, too much haze:
Second attempt later in the day a little better:
Hope everyone had a great weekend too!

I love them! Wanna know something weird I notice when I get those really hazy shots? I always try an "Auto Levels" in PS, and sometimes it magically transforms it into something good. Other times, it's just a mess, but I always try it.
Oh great park pictures. I love them.
Love these! Your kids are too cute!
These are great and fun, great looking family.
These are great! Especially the 2nd and 3rd one! Great family shot and the sun haze... i like it. Cool how you caught the dust (whatever it is) in the haze!
Cool, cool shot of Dh and the boys!
The second attempt at backlight ing came out really well, but I like the first attempt too- it looks 70's Polaroid colorish to me.
Awww...the pic of your three boys is wonderful! Your second backlighting one is great!
Oh I just LOVE that shot of all the boys!!! I need more boys!!! Too precious!
That second shot is just priceless!
These are really sweet. I love the lil' ones blonde hair.

I LOVE your BW conversion! Glad to hear you had a good weekend, its always hard going back to work after a long weekend!
Oh I hear ya about enjoying the weekend and the dread of work. I took a ton of pics too...These shots are great. I love the one of the boys together very sweet and I'm impressed by your hazy picture. It gives it a summery feel.
I just love your shots in the sun. It looks so soft and lovely.
You are sooooo good at NOT getting glare on glasses! That 2nd sun picture is really good!
Sweet shot of your trio - love it! And I love the little lighted shapes from your bokeh in that last one. Very pretty!
Ha! I love Keats face in the last one. Super duper cute.
Great shot of all the boys together!! Good for you, too, for stepping and shooting outside your comfort zone.
It's great to get out and try new things. I like the haze in the backlighting one, maybe just deepen the shadows a bit...bet that would really make a difference. LOVE #2 with daddy...so cute and they look so alike too.
These are all fabulous! Love your conversions in the first two. So rich and warm! Your kids are just sooooo adorable!:)
Great shots!! I love that 3rd one, I love the hazy look and the last one is perfect too!! Looks like a fun weekend.
