Boy Wonder

My boy might be too pretty for his own good. Lately he has been getting the pretty girl comment out and about and in pictures. It really doesn't bother me at all. I know it is the hair and he is just a pretty boy. I think he is adorable.

My husband on the other hand thinks it means it is time for a haircut. So here is what we are going to do - I put a poll on here. Now it does have three options to choose from but if you want to remain friends you will only choose the first one ;) I mean honest opinions please.

A reminder of my little man:

P.S.- I am sure you get tired of my music but I just discovered this band playing Sea Wolf and I am loving them Black Dirt and The Garden that You Planted are Great Songs.

I love the curls. There is NO way I could cut them! A trim wouldn't be bad, but please don't cut it!! I love how "pretty" he looks with them!

What a cute little guy. That first hair cut is a tough one. Do it when you're good and ready:)

I voted. I'm glad we can still be friends. ;-)

He looks precious with his curls, but I don't think a trim would hurt.

Gosh, that's tough. We cut our Andrew's hair because it started looking so frizzy if not wet. His texture is coarse though, does not look like keaton's is. If it's fine and curls just like that, I don't think I'd cut it. But...if it gets unruly and wiry...yes, I would.

his hair is cute..but i know how that goes about people mistaking boys for girls and the opposite.

What a beautiful picture. He is such a doll and I personally love the hair. The curls are just perfect. Nice shot!

Ok...you need to keep the curls. But...by mistake I pressed the last button...I did not read the "Yes" part, just the "pretty" part, because he is pretty, and I love girls on boys OR girls. You need to keep them for sure.

Hmmm...so many of my girlfriends and their spouses have had the same discussion. The women always want the pretty curls. Guys can't stand having their son lookin' like a girl...

Oh no no no.... don't cut my little Keats' hair! Austin had the most gorgeous curls (like banana curls) and one day when he was about 2 my mom decided on her own while she was babysitting, that he needed his first haircut- and she CUT OFF ALL HIS BEAUTIFUL CURLS!!! And they never grew back!!!!! His hair came back in straight and "blah" after that!

Hang on to those curls, girl!

No. No. No.

Don't free the curls.

They're manly.

No don't cut it yet. It is so pretty. He still a little boy. When my ds#2 was 3years old my fil took him for the weekend and shaved yes shaved his curls off. I was livid. So now you know why I say keep the curls.

I had to vote "NO" because this is your only chance to keep it the way you like it! He'll have plenty of hair cuts! Just don't dress him in pink ;)

Precious photo and oh sooooo cute hair! This is the only time in his life he can get away with that beautiful hair so take advantage!!! I LOVE IT!!

From one mom of a curly-haired pretty boy to another...go with it! He's so handsome and it's not like he really cares at this age! :) Enjoy it! I did end up trimming E's hair after a while cause it was WAAAAY long, but the curls did not go away because we just trimmed it up!
