Now I have always loved to take pictures but before that it was all point and shoot in auto. About a month before Mothers Day last year though I discovered the creative modes on my camera and read every post on every message board I could find and every book I could get my hands on. I started really controlling my own pictures and was amazed at what I could accomplish. My dear, sweet, amazing hubby noticed too. He also noticed how many time I looked longingly at cameras at every store we went to. He surprised me with the Xti on Mothers Day. Well actually he told me the week before he ordered it cause he wanted to make sure he got what I wanted.
I seriously downloaded the manual and read it 3 times before it even got here. I have really jumped in head first and learned as much as I could in this last year. Sometimes I feel guilty I have not been shooting very long but I know I have worked to get where I am.
And that is the story of Bobbi and how she discovered her dreams...all thanks to my amazing husband.
Anyways here is a picture that I didn't notice from the other day. It almost looks like they are getting along. If Keats only knew that Blaze was leading him to the end of the yard just to run away lol.

Bobbi, that is a fabulous story! I'd love to hear your story about your pp'ing skills because I really always like the color in your photos.
This is a wonderful photo - evokes emotion and tells a story. Fantastic!
Bobbi--this is such a cute story with the photo...you'd never know the devious undertones. Really like your PPing on this.

Siblings walking away from the camera is one of my all-time favorite shots, and I love your conversion. Happy Mother's Day to you too!
