The flowers are Japanese Cherry blossoms which bloom for only a short period of time. In the Japanese culture they symbolize how import life is because of this. And then Keaton is my sons name of course so a very fitting symbol.
I also took some more flower shots with the macro. I really have to buy this so I can get some walk-around shots too when everything is starting to bloom.
I tend to do more of a vintage wash on the pictures cause the colors seem so bright to me-maybe I am just not used to it yet.
The color was a bit bright for me so I toned it down a bit and now looking at it again I might like the brighter one.

Those Japanese blossoms are truly pretty. I saw a wedding cake with them on it a couple weeks back and loved it. I like that brighter flower too, although it's definitely not too bright.
