Two Days in a Row...

Madness :) I am going to post more then one "sessions" in the same one so I can get through with my old stuff quicker and move on to new and more exciting things :) Almost all the pictures I take are of children of my coworkers...I love the practice.

This little girl was such a doll and loved the fairy picture I made of her...her niece was there with her so I took some pictures of her as well. I love her little face it seems classic to me.





The older girl in these pictures was sooo nice. Her mom said she was a little self conscious but she really came out. Her sister was such a cutie too.



I think that is enough for one post, thanks for all the comments and looking :)...btw I am totally in love with this song playing if your sound is up. It is so sweet and simple.

New Years Resolution....

to keep my blog up. I really, really want to. I think it is such a good way to share pictures and I would love to get CC as well. I don't know why it just seems when I sit down on my computer I get sidetracked so easily. So my goal is to really participate this year and pick up my camera more...and to take more snapshots of my kids...really good snapshots that is ;)

Ok so for the first couple of days or I am just going to catchup and post some pics that I never did since from September on...I don't feel like getting all the settings so you don't have to CC those unless something is obviously off. I have improved since these too if I do say so myself :) After that I will stay current :) Thanks for looking!

This girl was so fun and cute...plus I taught myself to make a storyboard and a tutu (which were still kinda in then right)! It was my first and not the greatest but I was so proud of it :)

I'm back!

I really want to keep up with this blog it just seems this year has been the busiest I ever have. Having a new baby, my boy going to school, and getting into photography has really taken up so much time. Sometime I feel I just need to take some time to myself but that is so hard to do.

I have discovered that I really love taking pictures so much though. Many friends have asked me to take pictures for them which I do (no charge of course just in case someday I do start to decide to do this I will have some portfoilio pictures) but now their friends are asking where they were done at and are wanting me to do them but I really don't feel ready for the business aspects yet...or even if I am good enough. I will want to learn how to do everything perfectly before any of that, just the way I am...so we will see where that goes.

With that in mind I am going to try to keep up with this blog and always feel free to cc me :)

Ok I'll start off with just some random pictures of my kid...trying to learn how to use my flash and it is a very love/hate relationsship :) These are mostly snapshots but I am jumping back in.

I have been waiting for the friends and family week and I almost missed it....it is still friends and family right:) These little guys are me sons and nephews...no girls on my DH's side of the family. They were such a handful and I realized that group shots are not my best and I really need to practice getting everyone in focus. Sorry there are a lot of them. Thanks for looking :)

Opinions Please!

I am going to start editing this session but I can't decide which versions I like better, the one with more color pop or the more natural looking one (both are Renee's actions which rock by the way) I think my problem is the more natural looking one looks dull beside the color pop where as it might look fine otherwise...and the color pop one looks maybe too much next to the other one. In others words I've been looking at it too long, lol

When you edit a session do you try to keep with the same look or do you do a variety? Like maybe just some with the more intense color? Anyway thanks for looking and the opinions :)

A Day Late and a Dollar Short...

So I am on theme...even if it is last weeks theme lol. I was playing with my new lens and don't usually take pics of flowers but needed a subject. I really like the way it came out, even if it is centered :) Tomorrow I will try to get a day in the life of pic but for now here is a late fill the frame :)

Wow, has it really been that long...

Since I last updated my blog. I have been so busy with work (puke) and my baby has been sick (double puke) Plus my other baby is getting ready to start school in less then two weeks (do I even have to say it) I am really bummin about this...the worst part is he's going to private school so I don't even get the satisfaction of buying cute new clothes. Lol they have to grow up someday, but man did it happen fast :(

Here is a picture of my "baby" with my new Tamron 28-75 2.8 I have not got to practice with it too much cause it is too dang hot out. So there might be a learning curve. Does this picture look soft to you, I want to make sure I got a good copy and I really don't want to send it to be calibrated...
