Ugh!

I seriously feel so, so uninspired right now. And I hate that feeling. Anyone want to give me an assignment lol ;)
I feel like this:

And I just want to feel like this:

Winter needs to just go away...or my taxes need to get here so I can buy myself a small toy to inspire me ;)

Shout out to the awesome Heather who posted this cool tip for a makeshift macro.
I had fun playing with it though I don't have very steady hands so they aren't that sharp.
A shirt of mine, w/out the makeshift macro:

And in close detail with the makeshift macro:

And of course the obligatory droplets shot:

Totally making me want a real macro lens!

Bobbi, those macros are so cool. I may have to give it a try. Cute expression shots of your little guy. They are so crisp.

I seriously think I am going to buy a macro lens! I just love them...and you can use them for more than just macro like things. The 100mm 2.8 isn't that expensive, right. :P

I really know what you mean about feeling uninspired. The cold is just ripping the creativity out of me.

I love that first shot...omg...its so...honest. There is a lot to be said for honest art, Bobbi.

Well, I think you're doing "creative" just fine!

Very cool shot of the water drops! Your son is too cute! And I missed this macro trick, I'll have to check that out. :)

Those first two pics are so cute! I totally "get" the uninspired" thing. I think it is pretty typical for this time of year.

I love that you shot some macros, but I didn't read whatever it was that got you there.

My idea for you for inspiration is the color YELLOW. That's it, just yellow. Just thinking about that color should perk you up a little bit, right?

I really love the water droplets! So cool! And B is SO cute! I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets those expressions. :)

Oh honey... I feel like that first shot too! I am so out of practice and it's only been a little over a week since I've been able to use my camera... hurry up, tax man, so Bobbi and I BOTH can get some new toys to play with! ;)

The super macro shots are amazing! That reminds me of what I get with the extension tubes if I put them ALL on. I am SO with you on wanting a REAL macro lens though- I think it would be so much easier to control the focus and DOF then! :)
