Butterflies

We went to a butterfly exhibit today and met up with some of James friends and their son. There are a lot of pics so I will break it up into two days between butterflies and no butterflies in the pictures.

Today will be the (drum roll please)....no butterfly day. Yay! I am such a dork.
I actually don't have pics of Keats for a change cause he was just not in the mood. Blaze surprisingly was willing to let me take a picture outside before the exhibit, as long as he could make a goofy face that is.

And then I snapped this picture of Nick and Melissa's son Mahi. If you are a regular reader of my blog you have seen this little man before. He is seriously my most favortist non related little guy to take pictures of. He has some of the most amazing blue eyes I have ever seen. And I get to shoot his one year pics coming up soon. Can't wait!!! I love this picture.

And just for fun a vertical crop in color to see those blues, though I do prefer the original comp and the conversion above (at least I think but you know how I am with those decisions). Isn't he adorable?

Don't you just love how I titled this Butterflies and showed you none, I will have to think of what to call tomorrows.

I love how the color pic brings out his eyes. I'm so glad he's your favorite non-related little guy for photos. BTW, you are our favorite photographer!

Happy Mother's Day!

Oh, Bobbi, he IS a cutie. He has amazing eye color--the color shot is a real grabber. Of course, gotta love B's expression!

Great shots. Love the b&w conversion. The catchlights are awesome in that second shot!

I don't think I could ever see Blaze in real life without giving that cute face a squish! How do you resist not smooshing your kids to pieces? And though I was happy to see those beautiful blue eyes, I agree with you about the crop and b/w.

I can see how you like taking pics of him, what a daling little face. Almost reminds me a bit of Dennis the Menace, kinda that little smirky look.
