Vacation all I ever wanted..

Ok not really a vacation, more like a weekend getaway. I just really like this song.
We went to Orlando because James and Blaze really wanted to meet Leonard Nimoy (Spock for the non-nerd crowd) while they still could. Which they did and Blaze informed him, "You're my biggest fan" to which he laughed and replied he was.

I have come to realize though that when it comes to family/personal stuff I am a very lazy photographer. I would much rather enjoy than capture. It was a pretty busy weekend but we managed to go to Disney and surprise the kids...and I literally took 5 pictures. Seriously that's it. And they were literally just snaps as we were walking through the parade, not even of my kids.

I think it was too much of a pain to get my big camera out and then keep putting it back cause I didn't know if there was water on rides. It was taking away from my fun so I just put it away. I just need a nice p&s...Mother's Day hint!!

Anyway I will show my Disney/Convention snaps on my next blog but for now here are some random pictures of the kids in the hotel room.

They are so cute! And the biggest fan thing, how precious! :) I got a point and shoot recently for that very reason...there are some places I'm too lazy (and scared) to lug the big camera to with a 3 yr old and a baby, so the P&S will be great to have!

Awwww...they are so amazing. I really would love to get that Leica point and shoot they have out now. SIGH....just add it to the list. I am like that too though. I hate to take my camera to the beach, or anywhere I know that it could possibly get broken, so I think I do miss out on so much. Its nice to have a break too though.

It sounds like you guys had a great time!

Aww, your trip sounds wonderful! And ROFL- I am so glad to see my kids aren't the only ones who insist on me taking photos of their random toys- I can't even tell you how many shots I have of Littlest Pet Shops, baby dolls in various clothing, animal-shaped pencil erasers, etc etc etc! :p

Aw, cute kids. I like the picture of your DS with his Sonic. I think a nice P&S is just what you need (I've been eyeing one for me, too!)

Your boys are so cute! I have a P&S that I take to amusement parks and I even took it to Europe... I figure those trips are family time and the photos I take are good enough. :)
