I Have the Power??

How many people can say they spent their Sunday taking pictures of He-Man figures? I guess that is just one of the many perks of being married to my adorable and sexy husband (James is standing over my shoulder and made me put those things in...not that they aren't true Mr. Modest).

He has a Star Trek blog where he reviews figures and is getting ready to start a He-Man one and asked me to take some pictures.

Toys are such a nice change every once in awhile. They don't move or talk back and let me practice a little off camera flash outside.

I won't post them all but here are a couple of the cooler figures. Any old schoolers out there recognize any of these ( don't worry I didn't either)

I was in between eras here--I was too old, and my kids were too young. I did get HeMan and Skeletor, though!!!

I love the setting you used. VERY manly. Oh and those thighs! Yikes! No wonder they wear tights, no trousers would every fit. ;)

Such a flashback. I think He-Man used to come on after Jem, part of the after school cartoon block.

He-man and then there was She-ra. I always preferred He-man. :)

WOW, I think I had a bunch of those as a kid (not nearly in that good of shape) I forgot all about HeMan. Great shots!

WOW, I love it!! Skelator used to scare the bajesus out of me when I was little and my brother would watch it!

Funny! Do you have a link to your husband's Star Trek blog? I've just got to show it to my DH :)

Wow, some of those guys are really scary, I'm not familiar with any of them. I've never seen Star Trek, but did go to a museum last year (history museum in San Diego during Comic Con) that had a huge exhibit on Star Trek. My girls wanted to get tickets to it so we did and took some photos in what I think were some sets from the movies, that was pretty cool. And we found out there is a whole language for Star Trek! People can speak it like we speak English...or they were pulling our legs! :)

p.s. Great shots!

I remember the first two, but I didn't watch He-Man when I was a kid. I was really into Thundercats - Ho!
